Duplicate sites: when the affiliate programs became popular and famous, many webmasters create copy of the site they were promoting. Tweak it a little bit and make it online hoping that it would outrank the site it was promoting and would capture their sales. This tactic was quickly banned by the search engines as search engines would like to see unique content across all of their results. And search engines also have methods for detecting and removing duplicate sites from their index.
These tactics and tricks would work eventually but temporarily, these techniques may get your site higher search rankings. But your site could also get banned for using unethical practices.
